We were proud and delighted to recently discover that Fred. Olsen Travel has been nominated for ‘Favourite Travel Agent’ at this year’s Wave Awards.
Referred to as ‘the Oscars of cruising’ the annual Wave Awards celebrate everything that’s great about the cruise industry, honouring the very best people that work within it. Firmly established as the most illustrious awards program in the industry, the ceremony is in its fifth year.
We’re pleased to have made the shortlist and are looking forward to being part of a night that rewards excellence and innovation in a constantly changing business. However, the best part is that the finalists for this particular category were chosen by the public – our customers. It’s so rewarding to know that we’re doing a great job and that the general public value the service provided by our knowledgeable and expert team.
The event will be held on the evening of 2nd April 2020 in London’s elegant 8 Northumberland Avenue. The job of deciding the eventual winners for each category has been given to a selection of judges, all of whom are revered within the world of travel. These include Colette Doyle, Editor of Cruise Trade News; Vicky Mayer, Editor of World of Cruising; and Bernard Carter, Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Oceania Cruises.
